This Buyer is responsible for purchasing of traded goods and raw material needed for production. They buyer will continuously monitor and analyze production requirements to minimize on hand inventories, while ensuring no shortages in direct material. The buyer will participate in month-end inventory counts and help support local and regional sourcing initiatives. The buyer will develop and maintain relationships with local vendors and gain an understanding of local markets.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Set up traded items in ERP system.
· Monitor purchasing requisitions daily.
· Issue purchase orders to outside vendors as needed for raw materials and traded goods.
· Responsible for monitoring and analyzing production material requirements to minimize on hand inventories, while ensuring no shortages for direct materials such as lumber, plywood, foam, corrugate, steel, and fasteners.
· Communicate to Customer Service Representative if vendor cannot meet customers’ requested ship date.
· Monitor and expedite open Purchase Orders to ensure on-time delivery from vendors.
· Update Purchase orders as needed to reflect changes in price or delivery dates.
· Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers as needed.
· Research potential new suppliers and support supplier onboarding and management process.
· Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors.
· Follow up with suppliers for corrective action on quality/delivery issues.
· Ensure supply of indirect materials ex. PPE, banding, tools, machinery consumables Inbound freight management.
· Participates in month-end physical inventory count, counting and reporting, data input into ERP system, variance analysis.
· Maintains vendor performance records (monthly basis).
· Supports and participates in local, regional, and corporate sourcing initiatives.
· Travel up to 10%.

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

 

EDUCATION

  • Minimum associate degree in a related field, bachelor’s preferred

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of buying and/or sourcing experience, preferably in a manufacturing
  • Experience negotiating with multiple suppliers.
  • Experience working with ERP system.

HUVUDSAKLIGA ARBETSUPPGIFTER

Als Assistant Controller zorg je er samen met jouw collega’s voor dat de gehele financiële administratie van Nefab Nederland op rolletjes loopt. Ieder heeft zijn/haar eigen takenpakket, waarbij jij verantwoordelijk bent voor het verrichten van operationele taken met betrekking tot het betalingsverkeer en het verzorgen van de debiteurenadministratie. Je gaat op onderzoek uit bij klanten waarbij de uiterste betalingstermijn reeds is verstreken en verstuurt betalingsherinneringen. Sommige klanten werken op basis van self-billing, waarbij het jouw taak is om dit te matchen met onze eigen facturen.

Naast deze wekelijkse werkzaamheden draag je bij aan de maandafsluiting in samenwerking met de Finance Manager. Hierbij stel je diverse financiële rapportages op binnen de gestelde deadlines. Het verrichten van de aangifte omzetbelasting behoort eveneens tot jouw takenpakket en je hebt een belangrijke rol in het voorbereiden van de jaarafsluiting.

Tot slot archiveer je contracten in onze database, verzorg je de benodigde rapportages voor het CBS en beantwoord je vragen van collega’s van andere afdelingen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Beheer en bewaken van debiteuren;
  • Beheer en bewaken van het kasboek;
  • Het verrichten van aangiften omzetbelasting;
  • Netting afstemming, boeking en betaling;
  • Voorbereiden van betalingen;
  • Verwerking van het betalingsverkeer;
  • Het opstellen van periodieke rapportages;
  • Het bieden van ondersteuning aan de Finance Manager;
  • Archivering contract database.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over MBO-4 werk- en denkniveau en hebt bij voorkeur enkele jaren ervaring in een financieel administratieve functie (maar ook enthousiaste, leergierige starters zijn welkom om te reageren);
  • Je bent integer, nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail;
  • Je stelt je pro-actief op en bent resultaatgericht en schrikt niet van deadlines;
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende kennis van Excel en hebt ervaring met het werken met een boekhoudsysteem;
  • Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift;
  • Je bent bij voorkeur 40 uur per week beschikbaar (in overleg zijn minder uren bespreekbaar).

JOB SUMMARY

The Contract Logistics Implementation Manager supports the local teams in the preparation-phase and the implementation activities of new Contract Logistics operations. This includes legal compliance and understanding customer requirements.

The Contract Logistics Implementation Manager will:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop an effective implementation plan.
  • Support the local team in attracting new Service Logistics opportunities and the bidding process, communicating with customer from prospect to implementation.
  • Support the local team to:
    • develop implementation plans
    • develop MHE and investment plans
    • develop local process descriptions and work instructions
    • Implement operations for new businesses
  • Project management of Contract Logistics implementation projects
  • Monitor implemented operations to ensure agreed performance levels and cost are achieved.
  • Benchmark local operations and implementation of best practices

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with local teams to ensure that implementation of new Contract logistics operations is delivered on-time with the correct quality and within budget.
  • Analyse current set-ups, drive general activities and if necessary, re-design the Contract Logistics part of the supply chain, supervise change management and drive improvement of the operations.
  • Provide specialist competence, support and training to all applicable personnel at local companies to help secure the quality of the operation.
  • Maintain a network for Contract Logistics Management personnel within the regions, and drive competence development and sharing of best practices.
  • Participate in and contribute to the Contract Logistics Management network, to help to maintain global Warehouse & Distribution competence.
  • Establish inspections processes and procedures to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled, and ensure they are correctly implemented and updated.
  • Gather information about the performance of different processes and areas, and drive implementation of improvement actions when required.
  • Handle complaints received from Customer, ensuring they are efficient and focused on ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Handle complaints opened to suppliers.

YOUR QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or similar (mandatory)
  • Minimum 8 years’ previous experiences from similar position. (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of direct responsibility in managing large warehouse operations
  • Manufacturing experiences of industrial products (preferred)
  • English (high - mandatory)
