Our business is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Project Coordinator.

As a Project Coordinator you are the linking pin between our Sales department, Customer and Supply chains. You are responsible for monitoring and managing inventories, forecasting sales and production levels to plan for materials needed. You will buy materials and track delivery performance and response times.

Responsibilities

The role of a Project Coordinator will entail:

  • Liase with key stakeholders (customer and partners) to ensure smooth running of operations;
  • Help define stock/inventory levels required in order to maintain service level requirements from customers;
  • Monitor rolling forecast/incoming stock/used stock levels/trends;
  • Initiate, monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on time delivery from vendors;
  • Enter Purchase Orders from Customers into ERP, ensure there are no discrepancies versus customer file or quote (payment terms, freight terms, etc.);
  • Receipt management: Collect proof of delivery for items received from Receiving and enter information into ERP, ensures all inbound receipts are verified, and quantities received from supplier are accurate;
  • Maintain Vendor Performance Monitoring records (monthly and quarterly updates);
  • Know the daily pulls from the logistic service provider and direct incoming materials required from suppliers;
  • KPI / SLA reporting;
  • Responsible for the efficient handling of Customer orders and related data & records (Customers’ Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Confirmations & Invoices);
  • Handle inquiries from Customers regarding details of orders, delivery coordination, etc.;
  • Coordinate ship dates to maximize trucks and optimize freight costs to customers (i.e. consolidating several customers’ orders on one truck);
  • Liaise with Engineering, Sales and Purchasing regarding orders, quotes, lead times, etc.;
  • Audit accuracy of information in ERP Customer file when opening new Sales Orders;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Customer/Item reference in ERP;
  • Schedule shipping for Customer orders, create BOLs and shipping labels, arrange pickups.

Your profile 

  • You have a Bachelor working and thinking level, obtained through education and/or experience;
  • You have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in a logistic environment;
  • A fresh graduate with relevant internship experience is also welcome to apply;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential;
  • Integrity and accuracy are important;
  • Good MS office skills.
