As Business development manager, you will be responsible for the growth of our business and securing customer satisfaction. This includes executing the complete sales cycle from identifying opportunities, to coordinate the closing of new businesses.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a solid background in sales and proven experience from working with manufacturing industry or logistics. You enjoy networking and creating long-term relationships. Further, you have an ability to communicate to people at all levels and are good at negotiating, project management. We are seeking candidates who strong in business development and strong networker.

The role includes developing business opportunities with Korean companies. 

Your main responsibilities

  • Main job is to ensure and grow our business in both existing Korean account(s) as well as actively developing new opportunities.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and enjoys contacting prospects with a value-added approach;
  • Demonstrated ability to sell solutions, identify and solve complex customer’s requirement;
  • Creating and executing upon a sales strategy, including market analysis customer mapping and customer-specific action plans
  • Consultative selling and acting as an advisor of our sustainable and optimized transport packaging solutions and services;
  • Pro-actively engage with customer to ensure their satisfaction with our products and services;
  • Work closely together with other Nefab companies and functions, such as engineering, sourcing, customer service and manufacturing;
  • Accurately forecast distribution and volume targets; sales pipeline management and reporting;

Your profile

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Packaging, Business Administration, Engineering or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English.
  • Experience from B2B full-cycle sales, preferably in a multi-national environment.
  • Experience from both field of sales activities (Hunting new customers) and Key account management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in sales, preferably with packaging industry, other manufacturing industry or logistics.
  • Strong networker.

  • Takes initiative, makes things happen and drive the agenda forward to reach results and expectations;
  • Technical understanding and ability to translate and present technical aspects in a way that customer representatives and other stakeholders understands.
  • Basic understanding in international trading, logistics, geographic information.
  • (Preferably) Basic understanding of one or more of our key customer segment fields (Automotive, Semiconductor, Healthcare, Batteries, or Telecom & Datacom).
  • Staying on top of competition by monitoring trends and news.
