NEFAB VIETNAM IS LOOKING TO HIRE hybrid role of Sourcing and Procurement Manager for Packaging products production.

1.    JOB SUMMARY

Nefab is looking to hire hybrid role of Sourcing and Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the sourcing of Raw Materials, finished goods and Operational procurements.

You can be a young professional, but it is preferable that you have some experience from packaging industry and sourcing experience is seen as an advantage.

Selected person will be based in North Vietnam; however responsible for all plants in Vietnam and you are expected to be able to travel within Vietnam and internationally.

2.   MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow Nefab sourcing procedure.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships that ensure reliable sources of supply for manufactured items, resale/traded items, material, and services.
• Obtain supplier quotes and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Negotiate contracts for manufactured items, resale/traded items, material, and services.
• Ensure appropriate products are obtained in proper quantities, which meet the designed specifications and quality standards at the best price, with a timely delivery to meet production requirements.
• Implement and manage blanket purchase orders for long lead time items.
• Evaluate existing suppliers, new suppliers, and alternative products and recommend changes as required.
• Manage emergency stock out situations and expedite orders as required.
• Monitor trends which may affect pricing and supply and develop and implement action plans to manage risk.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Cost reduction initiatives
• Involvement with Logistics and Servicing of customers
• Support Business Development/Account Managers and Engineering on projects.
• Project management of specified customer projects from samples to initial order
• Travel to customers, suppliers and other Nefab facilities.
• Other projects as assigned.
• Work with corporate sourcing group on national- regional level suppliers and synergy, cost saving projects

3. REQUIREMENTS:

3.1 EDUCATION:

Minimum requirement of bachelor’s degree in relate field.

3.2 EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience, of which minimum 3 years in sourcing.
• Added advantage on following things:
• Knowledge of Corrugated and paper or Foam and Plastics or Wood and Plywood
• Experience in packaging industry seen as a plus.
• ISO Audit knowledge
• Total Cost of Ownership knowledge
• Cost Optimization knowledge

3.3 LANGUAGE

Fluent in Vietnamese and English communication.

3.4 COMPETENCIES

• Strong financial modelling skills and proficient in MS Excel, Power Point and other MS Office applications
