JOB SUMMARY

The Sourcing Manager is part of ensuring that Nefab  delivers high-quality and cost-efficient packaging solutions to customers based on their needs. The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operation, including all tasks from the research and qualification of suppliers to identifying cost savings, negotiating, and coming to a final agreement. The position is also responsible for analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and evaluate new possibilities, which leads to operations improvement, cost savings and total process efficiency.  Furthermore, the position generates and implement local sourcing strategies which are aligned with the Group strategy and long-term objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute on a local sourcing strategy, which is aligned with Nefab Group’s strategy, and supports growth and profitability.
  • Initiate projects aiming at total cost reductions and optimization programs.
  • Implement KPIs’ at local level for the evaluation of the sourcing performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and plan sourcing activities in the local market based on customers, segment and market’s current and future needs and expectations. This includes forecast volumes, products, materials, and supplier’s portfolio.
  • Suggests / initiates partnership, including building relationships and negotiating, with key suppliers which can deliver added value to end customers.
  • Perform cost, risk, and scenario analysis, including benchmarking and evaluating supplier’s portfolio and possibilities to deliver according to the customers current and future needs.
  • Ensure a good understanding of cost structures for different materials.

EDUCATION

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration,

Project Management, or other relevant area; Master’s or other advanced degrees are a

plus, or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

- 2+ years working in a sourcing related role (mandatory)

- 2+ years working in a procurement related role (preferred)

- 2+ years working in a project manager role (preferred)

- Manufacturing / quality experience is considered a plus

LANGUAGES

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Other language skills are considered a plus
