JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Warehouse Ops Manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day operations for the assigned shift and area. The Site Supervisor is responsible for meeting customer requirements in accordance with applicable policies and in the most economical and safe manner to the operation. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project management and operation
  • The Site Supervisor interfaces with outside contractors, suppliers and vendors as well as members of management and fellow employees. .
  • Business system development and adherence
  • Standards development and monitoring
  • Product structures and routings
  • Safety system
  • Performance management

  • Continuous improvement
  • Inventory management
  • Knowledge of components and assembly operations
  • Shipping and receiving management

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Technical Degree, Associates or Bachelor's preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Thorough understanding of warehousing and logistics
  • ERP and WMS experience preferred
  • Expertise in developing and initiating continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Planning and Organizational skills
  • Demonstrated personal presentation, oral & written skills
  • Proven ability with MS Office
  • Ability to manage others, resolve interpersonal conflicts, investigate issues
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex customer and company problems
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
